Position Summary:

Warehouse Clerk Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive delivered orders, verifying correct quantity and items while checking for any damage. Inform Warehouse Manager and/or local Vendors of any discrepancies immediately. Stock all items in the correct location Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse, stocking fully with overstock items. Verify any shortages are on order or write item on board. Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area or onto vehicles. Knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting terminology is a plus Responsible for monitoring the returns process, verify items are in satisfactory condition, write up returned material using the return billing information and then return items to correct stock locations Routinely remove recycling material in the warehouse Basic housecleaning duties, i.e. sweeping, wiping and vacuuming Ability to work in all weather conditions, non-climate-controlled warehouse Assist with all end of day processes, count controlled quantities in locked locations, restock water and high traffic items, locking and shutting down warehouse Assist with annual Inventory count of entire warehouse Correspond and assist with countermen and/or customers needing to locate items

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screening and may be asked to submit to background examination. W. W.
