Warehouse Specialist Position Available In Orange, Florida

Position Summary This position receives, organizes, maintains, warehouses, and distributes materials essential to the operation of all city departments. Essential Functions Receives and inventories all stock and non-stock shipments. Stocks items to shelf locations when applicable.

• Processes, organizes and secures stock in storage areas.
• Prepares and delivers orders for all City departments and inputs stock related documents received to maintain accurate stock quantities.
• Coordinates the receipt of non-stock items with various departments or individuals.
• Maintains electronic inventory database system and inputs packing slips and receipts.
• Prepares orders and delivery to city departments. Creates record of all transactions.
• Monitors stock quantities to ensure proper amounts are maintained; orders supplies under guidance of supervisor.
• Performs inventory on all stock items, and records materials issued and returned.
• Receives, organizes and prepares surplus related items for surplus property sale; Photographs and develops description of all City surplus property released for the purpose of sale.
• Prepares material, express mail and special delivery items for shipment.
• Inspects and cleans warehouse and stock storage areas; checks for potential safety hazards.
• Safely operations forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.
