Dock Hand Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Dock Hand Gulf Stream Boat Club 7848 South Federal Highway, Lantana, FL 33462 Gulf Stream Boat Club is looking for an experienced Dock Hand in Hypoloxo, FL to assist members on their reservations and help maintain our fleet of premium boats. You should feel comfortable working directly with our members and guests with keen attention to detail and demonstrate proficiency with boating, boater safety, and high end, concierge-style customer service. As part of our team, you will act as an ambassador of the Gulfstream Boat Club brand.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing boats for reservations – set up for the day Monitor and manage daily reservation schedule (outgoing, incoming, turnarounds) Greet and assist members upon arrival Docking, slipping, and refueling boats Washing/cleaning boats after guests return Ensuring guests feel confident with all onboard safety equipment Performing necessary maintenance tasks (waxing, quick fixes, log engine hours, etc.) Communicate with other Gulfstream Boat Club offices and marina teams Monitor boat scheduling & schedule maintenance services Be able to lift up to 50lbs Skills

• Knowledge of boats/boating industry and boater safety
• (Required)
• Experience docking/slipping boats
• (Required) Knowledge of the boating/marine/premium hospitality industry Organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills Pay will be based on relevant experience; hourly wage + tips.

Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays excluding Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Familiarity with the boating/marine industry and boating safety is required.

$15.00 – $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
