Warehouse Associate at Leaders Holding Co.
Company Overview:
Leaders Holding Co. is the largest family-owned casual furniture retailer in Florida, with 19 stores.
Starting Role:
Runner/Loader Responsibilities:
Scan, sort, and move products within the warehouse. Prepared customer orders and loaded furniture onto delivery trucks. Learn additional roles such as Receiving, Lift Operator, Assembly, and Repair.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm (Overtime based on volume)
Key Duties:
Handle and move outdoor furniture and accessories. Scan items with a handheld barcode scanner. Transfer items between departments. Load customer orders onto delivery vehicles. Unload trailers and containers. Tag and scan merchandise into the warehouse management system. Maintain a clean work area. Train for other departmental duties. Undergo forklift training and certification.
Compensation:
Base pay: $14 per hour.
Incentive bonus:
Up to $7 more per hour based on first-time completion. 401(k) Retirement Plan with up to 30% company match.
Requirements:
Positive attitude. Reliability and punctuality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and over 50 lbs. in a team lift. No experience necessary; training provided.
Physical Demands:
Regular use of arms, hands, and fingers. Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing. Regular lifting/moving up to 20 lbs., frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
