JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material types, material handling, and identification of material. This position requires the ability to safely operate a forklift, and overhead crane. The ideal candidate must be able to consistently work with inventory maintaining accuracy in moving and transferring between locations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Verifying material against incoming packing lists. Offloading verified material. Bin locating received material. Pulling material and staging at machines per pick list. Returning drop material to proper bin location. Packaging and loading customer orders for delivery. Perform quality inspections and follow ISO guidelines for product traceability. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with material handling, and identification of material.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be highly experienced in measuring parts using a tape measure, calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments. Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills. Must be dependable, punctual and reliable. Working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled. Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time.
