The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. Duties Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently. Perform picking and packing of products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain accurate inventory control by tracking stock levels and conducting regular counts. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks within the warehouse environment. Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment. Skills Proficient in materials handling techniques with a strong understanding of inventory control processes. Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing stock effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation requirements.
