Contract Length:

6 months, on-site position

Job Summary:

This person will be responsible for effectively managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials, verify contents against accompanying documentation, and inspect for quality and accuracy
• Identify and properly label materials for storage or distribution, ensuring adherence to AS9100 requirements
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
• Implement proper storage techniques to ensure the preservation and protection of materials, including adherence to handling and environmental requirements
• Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing materials, including quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers, and other relevant information
• Create and update material handling documents, such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory reports
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, promptly, and in compliance with AS9100 standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• AS9100 certification
• Proven experience as a Materials Handler or in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and documentation
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate material handling equipment safely
