The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment including order pickers, reach trucks, and other heavy machinery as needed. Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Fabricate and assemble products as required for order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software for tracking inventory and processing orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods. Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Requirements Previous experience in warehouse management or distribution center operations is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with inventory control practices and warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and order pickers. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical labor as required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
