The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves handling various warehouse tasks, including operating heavy equipment and managing inventory using advanced warehouse management systems. The Warehouse Technician will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment while ensuring timely processing of goods. Duties Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes, to move materials and products within the warehouse. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Build and assemble pallets for shipping, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure packaging. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Assist in the implementation of warehouse management systems for better inventory control. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems to streamline operations. Experience with RF scanners for effective inventory tracking. Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of distribution center operations and best practices in warehousing. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.
