The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. Duties Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery. Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in restocking items as necessary. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Experience Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with inventory control systems and order picking processes is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
