Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to manage daily warehouse operations and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and profitably.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the day-to-day warehouse operations of order fulfillment, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Ensures a safe working environment and that products are stored safely
• Provides quality customer service in the warehouse and over the phone
• Creates accurate inventory, estimates, purchase orders, item receipts, sales orders, and invoicing in QuickBooks
• Ensures efficient and affordable shipping of products to customers
• Completes all required management reports.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed.
• Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Orders supplies as needed
• Monitors accounts receivable and collect on past due accounts
• Keeps company equipment – forklifts, pallet jacks, slitters, trucks, tools, etc. – in good working condition
• Monitors and update product pricing.
• Store and create SDS/TDS sheets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of computers and computer programs with the ability to quickly adapt to QuickBooks
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of related experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to upwards of 50 pounds and maneuver heavier loads onto a pallet or hand cart.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
