OT Shift:

M-F 5pm-5am (with OT on the weekends, need to be comfortable working 6 12 hour shifts) Working 48-60 hours a week on average

Direct Placement (long term opportunity) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to perform general labor duties including sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up of the warehouse. The role also involves operating a forklift throughout the yard and warehouse, assisting with weighing, sorting, and moving materials, and inspecting incoming scrap and cars. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and willing to cross-train in other positions as needed. Responsibilities Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up of the warehouse. Operate a forklift throughout the yard and warehouse. Assist in weighing, sorting, and moving materials. Inspect incoming scrap and cars, advising customers on accepted and non-accepted scrap, and taking deductions as needed. Cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed. Complete other duties as assigned by the manager. Essential Skills General labor experience General production experience Basic housekeeping Mechanical inclination Forklift operation Packaging skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop outdoor environment while providing excellent customer service. Minimum of 1-year previous general labor experience in heavy manufacturing environments and warehouses, manufacturing facility, production facility, preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries. Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day. Adaptability to frequent changes in priority and ability to complete tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision. Consistent attendance and dependability. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in extreme heat and be exposed to weather. Why Work Here?
