Position Summary:

Thermal Kitchen, a growing food processing and co-manufacturing facility in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving ingredients, packaging, and finished goods throughout the warehouse, supporting production and shipping operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished products.  Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks with care and accuracy.  Transport items to/from production lines and designated warehouse locations.  Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and allergen segregation protocols.  Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report any mechanical issues.  Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintain proper documentation.  Maintain a clean and organized warehouse in accordance with GMPs and food safety standards.  Work collaboratively with production, QA, and shipping/receiving teams.  Use handheld scanners or inventory management software to track materials.

Qualifications:

 Forklift certification required.  At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or food manufacturing environment.  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Basic understanding of warehouse operations, safety, and food handling procedures.  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or with a team.
