This full-time position requires associates to have previous experience loading and unloading containers by hand or EPJ as well as general warehouse work such as stacking, sorting and general clean-up around the warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities:

Unloading and Loading:

The core function is to safely and efficiently remove or place items from trucks or containers onto pallets or into racks/staging locations.

Cargo Handling:

Lumpers may be responsible for inspecting cargo for damage, sorting items, and arranging them for storage or loading.

Equipment Operation:

Lumpers often operate motorized pallet jacks to assist with moving and handling heavy items.

Safety:

Adhering to safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area, and reporting any potential hazards are essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Strength and Endurance:

Lumpers will handle heavy loads, requiring physical strength and stamina. Attention to

Detail:

Accurate cargo handling and sorting require a keen eye for detail.

Self-Starter:

Lumpers will work independently and need to be self-motivated.

Teamwork:

Lumpers are required to work as part of a team, requiring good communication and collaboration skills.

Warehouse Experience:

Experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with loading, unloading, or related tasks, can be beneficial.

Forklift/Pallet Jack Experience:

Prior experience operating these machines is required.
