The role key responsibility are followed.
Materials Receiving:
Unload incoming shipments promptly. Thoroughly inspect deliveries for any damage or discrepancies. Verify the received shipments against purchase orders or packing lists to ensure accuracy.
Inventory Storage:
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations efficiently. Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, or other appropriate equipment to transport items safely and securely. Maintain meticulous labeling and tracking of inventory to facilitate efficient management.
Order Picking and Packing:
Retrieve items from shelves based on order slips or digital systems. Prepare and package products meticulously for shipping, ensuring their quality and presentation. Strive for accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Shipping Responsibilities:
Load trucks for outgoing deliveries promptly and efficiently. Prepare comprehensive shipping documents, including labels, BOLs, and other necessary paperwork. Collaborate effectively with carriers and logistics teams as required to ensure smooth and timely shipping.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventories to maintain accurate inventory records. promptly report any inventory discrepancies to ensure data integrity. Utilize warehouse software (WMS or ERP systems) to keep inventory records up-to-date and accessible.
Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize the risk of accidents and equipment malfunctions. Regularly inspect and report on the condition of equipment to identify and address potential issues promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create comprehensive logs, checklists, and other relevant records documenting the movement and condition of goods. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and occasionally customers to ensure timely and efficient communication.
