 $16-18/hour(Depending on experience with + $1/hour Shift Differential) Quarterly safety bonus opportunities

 6PM – 6AM

What You Will Be Doing:

Load glass sheets, insulated units, laminated glass, and other related products onto delivery trucks following load plans and safety guidelines.
Secure glass using proper bracing techniques, straps, racks, and padding to prevent breakage during transit.
Inspect glass for defects or damage before loading.
Verify accuracy of product types, quantities, and order documentation before loading.
Use cranes, suction lifters, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment to move glass safely.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area and equipment.
Assist in unloading returned materials or racks when trucks return.
Communicate with production and delivery teams to resolve issues and ensure timely shipments.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear always required PPE.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience loading/unloading glass or other fragile materials is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs with proper equipment and techniques.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding role and outdoor/warehouse conditions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of loading protocols, tie-down techniques, and truck weight distribution.
Forklift certification is preferred but not required (training may be provided).

Preferred Skills:

Forklift or overhead crane certification.
Experience with tempering, annealing, or other heat treatment processes.
Basic computer skills for data entry or equipment monitoring systems.
Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection tools.
