Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your main goal will be to maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and to ensure that all products are properly stored and accounted for. You will also be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, and for ensuring that all products are properly labeled and packaged.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and carry heavy weights, up to 70 lbs. Proficient spelling and grammar Experience using power tools, intermediate mechanical abilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Experience using
Microsoft, Word, Excel, & Service Titan Preferred Qualifications:
5 years’ experience in a warehouse or plumbing industry warehouse 5 years’ experience using sit down and stand up forklift. 5 years’ experience using warehouse inventory software, Service Titan Familiarity with methods and procedures for warehouse operations Positive attitude and approach to work Ability to promote and help create a positive company culture. Must be able to organize priorities and work independently.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Assist with the inventory, loading and unloading of plumbing service trucks. Ensure that all products are properly labeled and packaged. Keep accurate records of all products in the warehouse. Assist with inventory management and control.
Skills:
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will use your skills in lifting and carrying heavy materials, maintaining inventory as well as your proficiency in spelling and grammar, to ensure that all products are properly labeled and packaged. You will also use your experience with power tools to assist with the loading and unloading of trucks. Your self-motivation and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Additionally, your familiarity with methods and procedures for warehouse operations will be beneficial in assisting with inventory management and control. Finally, your positive attitude and approach to work will help promote and create a positive company culture.
