The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks to move products safely and efficiently. Perform order picking and packing for shipments, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of products as required. Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts. Fabricate packaging materials as needed for various products. Skills Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Experience with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices within a warehouse setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Familiarity with distribution center operations and logistics management. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
