This position involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and delivering products safely and on time. Duties Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with OSHA regulations. Fabricate and assemble products as needed to meet customer specifications. Utilize RF scanners for inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels. Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and products, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote efficiency. Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of goods. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the distribution center. Skills Proficient in operating heavy equipment with a strong understanding of safety practices. Experience with inventory control systems, particularly AS400 is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in picking and packing processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination within the warehouse environment.
