Job Description
Material Handler Nile Automotive Group GA LLC Cumming, GA 30028 1. Responsible for the loading of all hoppers with raw molding material during shift (at times after shift if required). 2. Continuously checks hoppers throughout the shift to make sure they are at the appropriate level 3. A continuous check of all dryers to make sure they are working correctly and at the appropriate temperature. 4. Must have the ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisor as instructed. 5. Responsible for the appropriate movement and placement of all full scrap containers, and replace with empty containers with proper scrap labels on them. 6. Responsible for the appropriate placement of parts that have been tagged by QC and replace with proper empty containers. 7. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. 8. Efficient and effective completion of work station and machine changeovers, including but not limited to hoppers, grinders, dryers and packaging. 9. Accurately completing the Daily Forklift Pre-start Inspection Report without fail. 10. Safe operation of Forklift, following all rules and yielding to pedestrians at all times. 11. Performs other duties and/or assignments as instructed by supervisor.
SKILLS:
1. Valid certification to operate a forklift is Preferred. 2. Must have the ability to learn and improve. Summary As a Material Handler, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to manage materials handling, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. With core skills in materials handling and premium skills in operating forklifts and cranes, you will facilitate the movement of goods within the distribution center.
