The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse environment. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable operating various warehouse equipment and has a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely operate warehouse equipment, including clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes, to move materials and products throughout the facility. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management. Build and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all materials are stored properly and safely. Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with familiarity in shipping and receiving processes. Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment such as order pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
