Could This Be For You?
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Your Impact
Monitors and ensures all receiving is completed in 24-48 hours
Proactively addresses any receiving problems and provide solutions
Completes PO in Pre Stage report daily
Maintains clean, organized, and safe work area to include but not limited to keeping non-stock shelves clean
Ensures repackaging is completed in a timely manner
Teams with the purchasing department to address any concerns regarding POs, products, and/or vendor errors
Coordinates resolution of any stocking and inventory issues with Inventory Control Manager Process POs and stock
Informs Customer Service of Drop Ship POs shipped to the ATL warehouse
Monitors and reports any deviation or escalation to team lead or management
Promotes high levels of accuracy in the warehouse and provide training and guidance to peers
File damage claims with LTL carriers
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 years related experience

Physical Demands
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Walking / Standing during working hours
Effectively and safely use an industrial ladder.
Ability to work in a non climate controlled environment.

The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, crouch and stoop.
