As an Operator II supporting our distribution center, you will be trusted with warehouse shipping & receiving, gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method recording received and shipped items at the Johns Creek Distribution, in Johns Creek, Georgia. In this role, a typical day will include: Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and / or receiving duties which may require the use of a hand truck and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares material for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials prepares records of materials shipped. Routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate and assemble nonstandard crates and boxes. Rotate on a monthly basis to areas withing the department. Able to lead a small group of individuals.
