The Warehouse Team is vital to the success of our operations, industry specific experience is not necessary but a positive attitude and great work ethic are imperative. Fork Lift experience is preferred.

Job Purpose:

Pick/pack and ship orders through our warehouse management system by accurately pulling product by type and quantity from stock locations. Apply the necessary secondary packaging to products and prepare for ground or LTL shipment.

Shift Hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5.00 PM with 1 hour lunch

Duties:

Perform tasks to pick and process customer orders accurately Operate fork lifts to pick and pull products off of racking to build orders Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties Pull and prepare orders for shipment Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times Assist Drivers with deliveries as needed Participate in all scheduled physical inventories Inspecting the merchandise for defects; Performing minor touch up when needed; Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned The Ideal Candidate will have, among other skills and abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Pass a drug and background screening Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Lift and move products weighing up to 70 pounds without a lifting device Lift and move products in excess of 70 pounds with an approved lifting device; Work in an organized and safety conscious manner; Work as a team with an enthusiastic attitude; May be required to make deliveries or pick up products and return to warehouse using company vehicle. Basic Computer functions Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. Employee may lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
