Key duties include accurately picking, packing, receiving, and managing inventory control as well as conducting cycle counts, storing, distributing, and preparing products for shipment. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. It is a critical position that supports the smooth flow of goods from the warehouse to the customer. This role is responsible for ensuring that products are processed, inventoried, and shipped accurately and promptly while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents and qty’s against invoices, packing lists, purchase orders, contract release forms, or other relevant documents In compliance with quality standards. Receives, unpacks, stores, and issues general or specialized goods and supplies adhering to established quality standards Assign inventory/stock numbers and determine locations for new stock as needed Inputs and retrieves inventory information using computer workstations, verifying detailed information on computer-generated documents Verify and record received items against purchase orders or delivery notes. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor/assignee. Sort and label Property, supplies, and materials storing incoming stock in designated warehouse locations in compliance with Quality standards. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate quantities and stock levels maintaining Correct warehouse locations to prevent discrepancies. Prepare and submit required documentation for shipment and inventory adjustments. Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space. Support the temperature monitoring and reporting process. Retrieve order information from the order system and process shipping labels. Accurately track shipments and reconcile in company systems. Receive and review customer orders by phone, email, or electronic order system. Enters orders into the warehouse management system accurately and promptly. Verify order details, including product codes, quantities, delivery instructions, and processes according to operating procedures. Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Label and ensure proper packing of products to prevent damage during transit. Identify or report any issues related to product quality or order accuracy. Supports customer experience by addressing inquiries and researching solutions to resolve customer issues. Distribute products to various departments within the company Collaborate and communicate effectively with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and Receipt of product Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping floors, removing debris, and properly arranging storage areas. Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformities related to products, processes, and Quality System Identify and document potential issues related to the product, process and quality system. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures, including shipping, pulling receiving, stocking, picking, and packing. Knowledgeable or experience in planning, coordinating, and executing shipments to other countries Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and verifying inventory. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks. Strong sense of time organization and urgency Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment with minimal supervision. Power jack and forklift certification is preferred or a willingness to obtain certification is preferred. The working environment is indoors and seasonally heated and cooled with minimal noise levels. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and overtime as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Use warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the warehouse environment. Able to lift up to 50lbs Primarily work in warehouse and storage areas overseeing inventory management and logistics operations. Involve physical activities such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This position will include repetitive motions such as typing and using a mouse.
