That is exactly what we do. As a Warehouse Specialist, you will support our mission by ensuring we get well prepared product to the sales floor in short order. This is a highly collaborative position that provides support to our Sales Specialists in the placement and organization of product for sale. This position will have, at times, off-site warehouse responsibility for receiving, processing and maintaining the facility. The ReStore Warehouse Specialist is directly responsible for:

• Interacting positively with donors, customers and volunteers.
• Maintaining a high level of standards in regard to pricing and preparation of product for our selling floor.
• Walking the sales and warehouse each morning to familiarize one with current conditions and inventory levels.
• Utilizing hand and approved power equipment in a safe manner.
• Planning for new arrivals, working with partners to ensure product hits the sales floor as quickly as possible.
• Merchandising and displaying items in an attractive, sellable manner as needed.
• Proven ability to work independently, taking initiative to ensure the daily operations of our in-store and off-site warehouse are maintained.
• Checking the workboard each day to prioritize tasks for the day.
• Coordinating efforts with partners to ensure that each area is in synch with other on processes and special projects.
• Moving merchandise onto and off the sales floor as needed. This position does require physical labor, lifting up to 50lbs independently and more in team lift. A lot of the items we receive are large furniture pieces and building materials. Standing, walking, bending, lifting.
• Ensuring all supply levels are maintained.
• Maintaining a safe workspace, ensuring standards are maintained and enforced.
• Following all other company and store policies and procedures.
• Supporting the ReStore in reaching annual goals.
• Performing all other duties as needed.
• Adhering to company safe driving practices when needed.

Gwinnett/Walton Habitat is a Drug-Free Workplace.
