This individual is self-motivated with a strong customer focus and a sense of urgency. This role operates in a warehouse environment, routinely using standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material-handling tools. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. Shift times are based on business needs and specific to each branch location. Opportunity for Skill Pay 401K+401K Matching Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation & Sick Time Potential Overtime The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, picking and storing products. This role ensures that inventory is organized, orders are accurately fulfilled, and warehouse operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Essential Functions Responsible for receiving truck and small carrier shipments. Provide documents to the Receiving Associate for entry into the system. Put away the product into its assigned location appropriately. Responsible for fulfilling and picking customer orders and staging orders appropriately for shipping. Organize shipments appropriately for carrier pick-ups or Stauffer fleet deliveries. Ensure the fulfillment of customers’ orders are processed accurately and timely. Assist with inventory placement and inventory identification, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure movement of inventory is accurate and timely. This position may be assigned to specific areas of the distribution center based on the daily needs; which would include basic receiving, shipping, inventory management, facility maintenance, customer or inventory inquiries. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material handling tools. Use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus. Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment and in a controlled temperature environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, shifts time are based on business needs, specific to each branch location. Overtime may be required due to workload Travel Minimal. Required Education and Experience Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent. Have knowledge and minimum 1-year experience with shipping and receiving processes and able to provide timely and accurate shipments and receiving. Experience operating forklift equipment and pallet jacks. Preferred Education and Experience Prefer 2 or more years’ experience large distribution inventory environments. Knowledge or experience working with a warehouse management system.
