Warehouse Associate Suniva, Inc. 5765 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 Summary Suniva is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic and diverse team. As a Warehouse Associate at Suniva, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately performing a variety of duties related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of finished goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials and equipment, checking for any damage or discrepancies. Accurately label and sort incoming materials, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse Utilize inventory management systems to track and maintain accurate stock levels. Assist in the assembly and packaging of finished goods as per product specifications. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to transport and stack materials safely. Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packing, labeling, and documentation as required. Collaborate with team members and departments to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any order discrepancies or delivery issues. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies with appropriate documentation. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices. Assist in the implementation of warehouse improvement initiatives, such as process optimization and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, with further education or certification in warehouse management or related field preferred. 2-3 years proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the solar energy or manufacturing industry. Proficient in using inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is a plus. A valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Proficient in operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Physical dexterity to handle various materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to navigate and work in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and bending or kneeling as necessary.

Working Conditions:

Primarily indoor work in a warehouse setting with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. Potential exposure to hazardous materials and safety risks inherent to warehouse environments. May require overtime and weekend work depending on business needs.
