You support our team as Logistics Technician (Material Handler/Warehouse Associate) Reports to: Warehouse Manager We are currently seeking a skilled Logistics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and loading shipments. Direct and indirect Materials receiving, handling and booking.
Job Type:
Full-time, 1st Shift
- 08:00am to 04:30pm main schedule (but some variation will be needed in order to cover receiving hours 7am-3:30 or 9:30 am to 6 pm)
Work Location:
In person (Gainesville, GA)
Responsibilities:
Preparing daily shipments Receiving and transferring incoming direct and indirect materials Communicating with Logistic Coordinators regarding shipments Communicating damages to the Quality Teams Handling material and supplying assembly lines with parts Printing labels and labeling shipments Loading and unloading trucks Processing shipments in SAP Dealing daily with customer and supplier questions and issues Providing shipment and receipt information/ verification to finance Ordering and scheduling supplies for shipments Handling scrap and recycling materials Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED:
preferred Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment: Minimum 1-2 years, preferred 3 years of more
