- Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- + Interprets work orders & pick sheets following written instructions to determine materials or carts to be moved or staged.
+ Counts, weights, measures or examines packing contents of items for conformance to company specifications. + Loads and unloads materials onto or from profile pallets by hand. + Job requires constant lifting in excess of 15 to 20 pounds ( Full Stock lengths are handle by two employees when moving from rack to cart ) Employee must be able to stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours . Job requires stooping, bending & kneeling. + Unloads & examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages & corresponds with the profile group to rectify damages & shortages. + Loads materials onto carts and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent damage in transit. + Operates a stand up side loader to move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. + Operates a standard industrial fork truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products. + Performs all general inventory work as required.
- Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- + High School diploma/GED (minimum) + Preferred Experience with Excel, etc.
+ Have a good understanding of
BPCS & ADC
systems + Good Computer Skills. + Ability to recognize similarities and difference between profiles + Ability to add & subtract, multiply, divide. + Forklift and material handling experience. + Must have good communication and organizational skills. + Be vigilant about safety + Quality – conscious, oriented to excellence
