Description:
Material Handler performs various critical job functions to support the operation of the Extrusion Department. These functions can range from transporting raw materials to dumping trash. This is a 12-hour rotation night shift, 7 PM
- 7 AM.
What you will do as a Material Handler in the
Extrusion Department:
Operate lift truck 90% of the time. Keep designated lines stocked with all material needs. Move products from various areas within the plant using scanners and systems. Remove and replace scrap bins. Manually load or unload materials. Replace the gas tank on the lift truck as needed. Lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Follow all safety regulations. Maintain good housekeeping. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications Ability to read, write, and communicate in Basic English Must be 18 years old or older Must be able to pass the eye exam Must have at least 6 months of previous lift truck experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to mount & dismount the lift truck repeatedly. Must be able to perform basic computer functions Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment Complete Huali’s lift truck certification.
