Some Saturdays. Warehouse Associate Tasks Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse, as well as general housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts. Responsible for moving product from various areas within the plant. Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position. Responsible for lifting or moving heavy objects. Acting as a relief operator to cover other employees’ breaks and vacations Keeping the work area clean throughout the shift to ensure a safe and orderly work environment Assists in unloading incoming raw materials from trucks. Stacks the raw materials in a neat and orderly manner in the designated raw material storage areas. Assures levels in the silo tanks are adequate to hold incoming bulk materials without spills. Tests and approves the incoming material before unloading into the silo or latex tanks. Cleans all screens after product is unloaded. Is responsible for general housekeeping in the unloading and storage areas. Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stock material, processing customer returns and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

Requirements:

At least 2 years working in a distribution/warehouse driving a lift truck. A minimum of six (6) months of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, farming, or military environment OR completion of training/schooling in a related technical discipline Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment; e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and other PPE as required by specific jobs Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and /or pulling for up to 12 hours a day Willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays when required The ability to read and comprehend written instructions as required to complete assigned tasks Must be able to perform basic computer functions Ability to perform basic math functions and make measurements using the metric system Ability to read, write, and communicate in Basic English Good analytical and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to communicate effectively.
