Cherry Picker Operator Cross Path’s LLC. Hiram, GA 30141 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Cherry Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cherry pickers and other heavy equipment to efficiently pick and transport materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, order picking, and adherence to safety standards, including OSHA regulations. 1st Shift- 8am-5pm Temp-hire Must pass a background check $17.50hr Responsibilities Operate cherry pickers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to retrieve products from high shelves. Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting items for shipment or storage. Use pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment to move products around the warehouse. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient work environment. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers. Assist in building pallets for shipping and ensure that all orders are prepared for delivery on time. Experience Previous experience operating cherry pickers or similar heavy equipment is required. Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in troubleshooting equipment issues. Experience working under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is essential for maintaining safety standards.
