Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse Technician in Griffin, GA. In this high•performance role, you will be responsible for assisting in different areas of the warehouse. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Warehouse Technician job you’ll be responsible for: Unloading incoming shipments from trucks or vendor deliveries.
Inspecting items for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling or placarding against purchase orders or manifests.
Transporting good using forklifts to designated storage and staging areas.
Accurately gathering parts and equipment per job orders or service requests and assemble them on pallets or in shipment containers.
Preparing outbound shipments, load trailers, etc.
Operating forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely, performing pre-use inspections.
Supporting shop and field services by staging control components, pump parts and tools for maintenance or repair jobs.
Collaborate with service coordinators, technicians and shipping/receiving teams. What you’ll need: Must have basic computer skills (more experience is a PLUS).
Must have forklift experience.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
1-2 years of warehouse experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to secure and tarp loads for outgoing shipments.
Ability to climb unassisted to trailers (goosenecks) and beds of trucks (standard and flat bed).
Ability to pass DOT physical•To make occasional pickups/deliveries in company truck (locally).
MUST be able to pass a drug screening,

Great working schedule 6:00 AM•4:30 PM.
Monday•Friday schedule
Competitive pay based on experience starting at $18 an hour.
