Material Handler Team Solution LaGrange, GA 30240 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials and products within the facility, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and safely. This role requires familiarity with warehouse operations, equipment, and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including RF scanners, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and order pickers to move materials efficiently. Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system to track the movement of goods. Assist in organizing and storing materials in designated areas within the distribution center. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
