We are a medical textile company with a new production facility in Prairieville, LA. We are experiencing remarkable growth, therefore the opportunities for successful individuals can be significant. Entry Level EVENING Shift Material Handler (Prairieville) Responsibilities The Material Handler shall:

• New Employee will train on DAY shift for 3-4 months before transitioning to EVENING shift.
• Operate basic material handling equipment Load Foam in Overhead Belt Machine Foam Slitter Pallet Jack Hand Dolly
• Perform tasks with the physical requirements to stand for extended periods, the ability to lift 30lbs, and use a 5′ ladder
• Supply each production station with the appropriate labeled boxes and supplies.
• Tape boxes and place on cart. When cart is full, boxes should be moved to the shipping area.
• Assist in loading and unloading product in all warehouse areas.
• Expedite finished product to the receiver and shipper when necessary.
• Keep warehouse floors clean and shelves orderly in the production area.
• Work toward process improvement and improving customer satisfaction.
• Work as a team with production employees, shipping employees and other Material Handlers.
• Report to Shift Supervisor.
• Report quality issues to the Quality Inspector or Shift Supervisor prior to closing boxes.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Complete Work Travelers and Inventory Sheets as required.
• Follow safety rules and adhere to company policies. Entry Level EVENING Shift Material Handler (Prairieville) Education High School diploma Work Schedule The EVENING Shift Material Handler works 2:30pm
