• Full-time Job Summary The Gas Distribution Laborer supports drilling and installation crews by assisting with a variety of manual labor tasks.

This position requires a willingness to learn industry-specific skills, work safely and efficiently, and assist other personnel as needed. Laborers must arrive on time, maintain professional conduct, and contribute to overall crew productivity throughout the workday. Duties and Responsibilities Follow directions and ask appropriate questions when needed. Learn and apply industry terms, work practices, tools, and procedures. Report to work on time and maintain productivity throughout the day. Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and supervisors. Operate various tools and equipment including wrenches, drills, and potentially heavy machinery for excavation. Work closely with laborers, technicians, engineers, and the public to ensure safe and efficient gas distribution. Strictly adhere to safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment. Handle gas and related equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards. What You Need to Know Preferably 3-6 months of experience in construction and/or distribution.
