Job Description

Move materials from location to location as instructed, By carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors or other material handling equipment. Loads and unloads trucks according to established safety and operating procedures. Assist preparation of shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport. Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to proper location. Process paperwork to record transaction. Assist in physically locating Customer Property materials. Assist team with load outs or any staging of equipment. Physically prepares materials for safe movement or shipment including use of banding machine and clincher, stretch film, crating or other means. Practices good housekeeping in assigned area and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies. Promptly reports any operational problems or safety issues with machinery, tools or equipment to Team Leader. Blending Responsible for blending and mixing various chemical formulations using a blend sheet. Must be able to follow detailed procedures and learn new concepts quickly. Monitor all tank activities and complete tank inventories daily. Weigh and meter all blend components using volume meters and/or load cells. Ensure the proper operation of these measuring devices and report any concerns to supervisor. Handle and pump a variety of chemicals from water to hazardous items. Use and be familiar with a variety of chemical pumps and material handling devices to transfer/transport blending materials. Hook up tanks and hoses to blend and/or package the desired product. Works closely with management in assuring the proper tanks are connected to the packaging stations and to notify operators when levels are getting low. Monitor blending operations, mixing times, temperatures, and fill level Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the batch/blend area. Strives to achieve all production and quality goals.
