Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver

- Evaluation Hire $16/hr Monday
- Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver for a local client in East Baton Rouge Parish .
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouse and the daily transfer of HVAC freight and materials in a fast paced environment. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
for
Warehouse Worker:
Load and unload products from trucks daily using a forklift and/or hand truck. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise. Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders. Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders and inter-office transfers for shipment. Complete daily maintenance checklists for trucks and forklifts. Support inventory counts and assist with daily organization and upkeep of the warehouse. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Daily Transfer of freight. Upkeep of warehouse.
QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be forklift certified Attention to detail Organized Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
