Warehouse/Material Handler, 1st Shift
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 6:30am- 3:30pm / 30 minute lunch. Saturdays from time to time. $16.50/hour Warehouse Worker
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Handling:
Remove completed pallets of product from production area to shipping warehouse.
Follow all established procedures, safety rules, and SOP’s for the area.
Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment (e.g, pallet jack, stretch wrapper, floor scrubber, etc.). Maintain empty pallet area in a neat and orderly fashion.
Act as safety observer.
Maintain housekeeping in all areas responsible for in a neat and orderly fashion.
Shipping:
Assemble, Kit and Prepare finished product for shipment.
Utilize Pallet Jack to load pallets of product on trucks or containers. Load trucks properly so as not to overload the truck according to axle capacity.
Load containers properly to ensure all pallets are secured and won’t move around in the container.
Ensure all trucks or containers with hazardous shipments are properly identified with the appropriate placards required by law.
Ensure drivers are supplied with proper documentation on all shipments.
Receiving:
Receive and verify all incoming shipments.
Deliver items received to the proper recipient.
Enter receipts into the plant manufacturing software (SAP).
General Requirements:
Able to compile, compute, analyze, evaluate, and interpret data.
Able to communicate, work effectively, and relates well with others.
Excellent communication skills are required to interact with all levels of personnel at the site.
Good organizational skills, proven through other work experience.
Good mathematical skills and ability to use a calculator.
Good initiative and good follow up skills.
Computer literacy required.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must have the ability to wear all required safety and personal protective equipment.

HSD or GED
Must have clear Drug Screen & Background Required Experience & Skills Two years of related job experience in warehouse environment. Must have the ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, stretch wrapper and floor scrubber.
