Must-haves to apply for this job: Physically able to perform essential job functions. Forklift certified, or ability to obtain forklift certification. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. What this job is all about: Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes by managing the supply of raw materials and ingredients. In this job, you’ll do things like: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and ensure proper storage conditions to prevent spoilage or contamination. Pick and prepare raw materials and ingredients for production orders, ensuring they match the specifications and quantities required. Safely transport materials and ingredients to designated storage areas or production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Checks in and receives into inventory all incoming domestic/export/raw material trucks and completes appropriate paperwork: Receipts, Bills of Lading, Shipping Documents, Trailer Inspection/Reject Forms. Inputs appropriate production and/or material movement data into the manufacturing ERP system in a timely and accurate fashion. Other great stuff about this job: You’ll be more than just a number!
