What You’ll Do Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area Assist in unloading and loading customers Assist in performing inventory on material Assist in filling work/shipping orders Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization What You’ll Need Minimum 1 year experience in construction and or manufacturing environment Ability to operate a forklift Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements Able to operate hand tools Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for long periods of time Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
