The Ajax packaging facility, w these positions are based, is one of the largest employers in Ajax and Durham Region. We provide innovative packaging solutions to the beverage market and serve name brand customers such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Labatt and Molson to name a few.

The Job Opportunity:

The Smurfit Westrock Ajax facility is looking for General Labourers to work in our Finishing department. This position is responsible for the packing of quality cartons,pleting regular quality checks, maintaining housekeeping of work area, and ensuring goodmunication with your team. What you need to succeed:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset.
Can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the Company
Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently and with a team
Strong written and verbalmunication skills.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.

Shift Schedule:

Must be able to work all 12 hour rotating shifts:

Days:

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Nights:

7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
