We are seeking a Materials Handler for our Hammond, LA facility. The responsibilities of a Materials Handler at MECO will include: Loading and unloading trucks both manually and with pallet jacks and/or forklifts Verifying received items against orders to insure accuracy Accurately label and place stock in designated locations Picking required parts for delivery to the manufacturing units. Perform all duties in a safe manner and according to establish procedures The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: HS diploma or GED Two or more years of experience working in an industrial storeroom Prior experience in receiving, picking and material movement Must be eligible to be certified to drive a fork-lift Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which include ability to left up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
