Computer Disassembler –
Electronics Recycling Warehouse Worker Trident Electronics Recycling Salem, MA Summary:
Responsible for disassembling computers and sorting the various materials by performing the following duties. We are looking for long term employees who are interested in starting a career in the electronics recycling industry. Promotions are available for successful employees interested in learning computer refurbishing, shipping and receiving orders and running their own pick up crews. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Responsible for computer disassembly.
- 2. Sorts materials.
- 3. Prepares pallets of materials.
- 4. Loads and unloads trucks.
- 5. Travels to customer sites and collects computers and related devices.
- 6. Completes weight slip of inventory.
- 7. Prepares pallet labels including calculating gross and net weights.
- 8. Unpacks and sorts various materials.
- 9. Moves, stacks, and manages pallet inventory.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able familiar with hand tools and pallet jacks. Training will be provided on fast and accurate dismantling and sorting of various e-waste.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
