Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Haverhill, MA 01835 We currently have a contract to possible direct hire opportunity with one of our client companies located in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The need is for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate. The normal work days for the position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay for the position is from $22 – $28 per hour based upon skills and experience. • Please note, in order to be eligible for the position, a candidate must have a valid driver license with a reasonably good driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. The Delivery Driver will drive a 26 foot box truck and travel to customer work sites and deliver products. These routes are all completed during the regular workday, and no overnight routes or travel are required. When there are no deliveries to make, the Delivery Driver will work in the company warehouse and provide warehouse operations and inventory management duties. The Delivery Driver will also be trained and learn to serve as a backup to the Inventory Coordinator when the Inventory Coordinator is out. The Primary Responsibilities for the Delivery Driver are: Drive a company box truck to deliver customer orders at customer sites Order pulling, packing and delivery Coordinate deliveries with Warehouse Manager and Customers Visit customer site according to delivery scheduling by Warehouse Manager Meet and interact with Customers Unload, unbox and replenish Customer’s inventory of delivered order at customer site if required Work closely with company Warehouse Manager, Sales Representative, and Customers Receive, process and respond to email requests Perform warehouse duties as directed by Warehouse Manager when not on delivery routes or after delivery routes are completed Any experience with third party carriers like UPS, Fed Ex, DHL shipping is a big plus The Secondary Responsibilities that the Delivery Driver will have as Backup to the Inventory Coordinator are: Organize existing inventory at customer site. Conduct cycle counts of inventory and enter counts on ordering form. Replenish inventory in bins at customer site to maximum level based upon each item’s designated inventory level. Rotate inventory to ensure first in first out (FIFO) and making room for what is being delivered. Put away delivered replenishment order. Perform other duties as required.
