Material Handler – 3rd shift Position Available In Franklin, Massachusetts

Material Handler – 3rd Shift Description Judd Wire Inc., a SumitomoElectric Group company, is looking for a 3rd Shift Material Handler inour Turners Falls, MA facility. Individuals will be responsible for avariety of duties including: Performing required operations connectedwith measuring, inspecting, testing and re-spooling wire and cable inpreparation for shipping r its next operation.

Minimum Hourly Rate:

$19.81/hour, $3.00/hour 3rd shift differential Job Duties Work frommaterial movement documents, written and verbal instructions, andcomputer scanning device, records and forms. Transfer wire from onelocation to another as instructed by movement documents and/or writtenor verbal instructions either manually or fork truck. Ensure propertransfer of product. Maintain reels and pallets as needed for assignedoperations. Weigh and record scrap as required. Detect and reportdefective materials, malfunctioning equipment, unusual conditions tosupervision. Observe all safety rules and regulations. Maintainequipment and work areas in clean and orderly condition. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be a team player with the willingness to learnand work in a fast paced environment. High School diploma or GED 1-3month’s transferable experience Ability to work in a fast pacedenvironment Position requires knowledge of ordinary arithmetic includingdecimals, fractions, and simple use of specifications together with useof adjustable measuring instruments. Position requires moderate physicaleffort consisting of frequently moving average weights and continuousmental and visual attention to repetitive work, requiring constantalertness or activity. Working conditions may expose employee to noise,fumes, dust, etc. PIV Training and certification will be completed afterhire.
