Now hiring for Material Handler. Spherion of Massachusetts currently has Material Handler opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Material Handler will be working a first shift with limited required OT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is ready to work hard, learn quickly, and contribute to a good, team-oriented environment. Mon thru Fri. Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
Support shipping & receiving processes
Assist with packaging and material staging
Follow safety protocols (PPE required at all times)
Push and maneuver heavy loads using dolleys
Comply with ITAR regulations (US Citizens or Permanent Residents only) Working hours:

Must be able to lift/push 50 lbs …
Must speak English (reading, writing, speaking)
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Basic math skills (adding & subtracting)
No cell phone use during working hours
Must pass drug screening (No marijuana) and background check
