The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail, and the ability to make consistently accurate decisions when multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, someone whose skillset and enthusiasm intuitively adapts to multiple duties assigned by a supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfilling wholesale orders by accurately picking, staging, and packing each order in compliance with company standards Using various shipping software Accurately following detailed routing instructions for specific accounts, and completing all necessary paperwork required to ship completely and correctly Preparing all shipping documents, pallet labels, and safe placement of pallets in staging area for pick up; and assisting with truck loading when necessary Receiving incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and packaging Comparing packing slips to orders, ensuring the complete delivery has been made Reporting any overages and shortages immediately to the supervisor Stocking received items quickly and accurately, routing stock following the FIFO method Performing weekly and monthly inventory of packaged product, product materials, shipping supplies Stocking shelves with product inventory and rotating product Ensuring the shipping/receiving/inventory area is organized and clean at all times Maintains the space organization for maximum efficiency. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Previous experience, minimum of two years Strong Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Ability to solve problems: providing and performing solutions Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word Ability to quickly learn new software, such as Vendor Portals Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly Ability to lift, bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and walk throughout a shift Basic mathematics skills
Self-directed:
can perform duties with limited supervision Flexibility to work overtime on occasion, including weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS shipping experience preferred Knowledge of Shipstation and Google Docs Fork Lift Experience a plus
