The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to order picking, shipping, and receiving, while adhering to safety standards set by OSHA. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment using order picking techniques. Operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks safely and effectively. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with team members to build pallets for storage or shipment as needed. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of injury or accidents. Skills Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency in order picking techniques and familiarity with shipping/receiving processes. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks safely. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
